Refund & Return Policy | MacBook Parts – MobiTech SA
At MobiTech SA, we are committed to providing you with high-quality products and excellent service. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please review our Refund and Returns Policy below.
1. Returns Eligibility
You may request a return under the following conditions:
1.1 Defective Products
If a product is found to be faulty or defective within 3 months of purchase, you may return it for a refund, repair, or replacement, provided that:
The fault is not the result of physical damage, liquid exposure, or load-shedding-related wear (especially in batteries).
The product has not been tampered with or altered by an unauthorized party.
Any damage discovered after delivery must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Reports made after 48 hours may not qualify.
1.2 Non-Defective Products
If you change your mind or ordered the wrong item:
You may return the product within 7 days of delivery.
The product must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging with all documentation intact.
Products returned in a used, damaged, or altered condition may be rejected or refunded at a reduced amount.
1.3 Incorrect Products
If you receive the wrong item:
Do not open or use the product.

We will arrange for collection and replacement at no cost to you.
2. How to Arrange a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
Email us at info@mobitechsa.co.za with your order number and reason for return.
Wait for confirmation and further instructions before sending the item back.
Ensure that the product is:
Properly packaged to prevent damage in transit.
Returned with all original packaging and documentation.
In a resalable condition unless defective.
MobiTech SA reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.
3. Refunds
3.1 Refund Options
Once your return is received, inspected, and approved:
A store credit may be issued to your MobiTech SA customer account, or
A bank refund may be processed to the original bank account used for payment.
Important: Refunds will not be issued to third-party bank accounts.
3.2 Processing Time
Approved refunds may take up to 5 working days to reflect in your account.
Note: MobiTech SA reserves the right to amend refund processing procedures.
Glen to amend as needed based on internal policy updates.
4. Items That Cannot Be Returned
We do not accept returns for the following:
Products damaged by user mishandling, incorrect installation, or misuse.
Items altered, repaired, or opened by an unauthorized party.
Products with wear and tear from load-shedding, power surges, or improper battery usage.
Items not reported as damaged or incorrect within 48 hours of delivery.
5. Shipping Costs on Returns
If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. defective or incorrect product), MobiTech SA will cover return shipping.
For non-defective returns (e.g. change of mind), return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
